Intro #demo to my #NicCLIM #commonLisp #McCLIM #mapEditor https://lispy-gopher-show.itch.io/nicclim/devlog/1541648/using-nicclim-starting-from-a-terminal-demo
sings, dances, graphics, interactive, programming, cures what ails ya. #gameDev #itch_io
I said a few times off the cuff, and I think I agree that this is one of the best things I programmed. I recently rewrote it so it would just trivially work with sbcl as well as ecl, I had formerly done a bunch of nonportable stuff. Watch the video in the article.

I have a pitch I do not suppose many will like: My editor is defined in terms of application frame commands of the International Lisp Associates, Symbolics Inc., Xerox Corporation, Franz Inc., LispWorks Ltd. spec https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_Lisp_Interface_Manager #CLIM hosted by the portable #ANSI ANSI INCITS 226-1994 (S2018) (formerly, X3.226-1994 (R1999)) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_Lisp #commonLisp Now, if I could only get one of the early testers of Bill Joy's VI @dougmerritt@mathstodon.xyz to try it, or the author of NEX @kentpitman@climatejustice.social
