@leftylabourtech @wohali @pluralistic honestly, and education, too. i don't think i had ever considered before that what brings about dark ages throughout history is greedy bastards making the world worse by not realizing their greed was breaking their possessions. but as we enter our modern dark age i find myself hearing the warnings in the media that survived through past dark ages. at least this go around we have a fun word for it. though maybe we've lost past fun words
