@jimmylittle@hachyderm.io It’s easier when the only media you wish to stream is media that streaming services have.
I have A TON of shit that no streaming service has. And even if they did, they don’t do things like add chapter markers, etc.

@caseyliss@mastodon.social I will say that I'm not a "movie guy" or "music guy", so it makes streaming much more tolerable. I don't care much about which cut I'm watching* or if the aspect ratio is a little off. I WISH I cared more about that kind of thing, but most media is just background noise for me. *except the terrible CGI junk in the late 90's re-releases of Star Wars. That was laughable...
