@theohonohan You are wise in these things. The game I'm writing relies heavily on users creating structures as an artistic process. What sort of stuff should I be reading? I'm not sure what the term is. It's not architecture insofar as there's no practical aspect. It's not sculpture or maybe it is? The game is 2d but I want players to think primarily in terms of buildings/objects not pictures. I think of land artists too, this train of thought started at a Sol LeWitt piece in Yorkshire sculpture park
