I look forward to finding It more about this "website" which, given it is for a significant public institution, might be anything from a simple set static pages describing the facilities of a building to a complex site (or "application") used for managing the discovery and management of digital and ordinal assets by many thousand people. I certainly expect it should demonstrate more thought and consideration than one could expect from some rando on Fiverr. And, though I would prefer councils simply employ software engineers on staff, I'm glad to know it has a support agreement! Will it have been the best and most cost effective way of procuring public software? Unlikely. Will I come out of this thinking Ben McNulty is a silly billy running his mouth off? One suspects so. https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/national/596986/atrocious-wellington-s-deputy-mayor-slams-600-000-bill-for-library-website/596986/atrocious-wellington-s-deputy-mayor-slams-600-000-bill-for-library-website
