@dthompson@toot.cat sometimes there is nothing to do what I want. Sometimes there is but it is horrid to use. Sometimes it does not quite do what I need. Sometimes it does way too much, stuff I don’t need and so ends up as bloat and complexity. Lots of reasons I end up writing my own. But sometimes there are tools, but I just want to understand it all better so making my own is a way to do that.
