@soph@grrl.me I can't be the only one having done even the rough math about the current "dude, it's (almost) free and will be so in the future!" model of a lot of these services. The huge price hike basically just waiting for the moment when they've calculated that they have enough hopelessly dependent users that pay any price even when the great majority walk away after the pricing changes. Just like it seems to be the way with everything these days.
