@broadwaybabyto@zeroes.ca from afar the firing on non violent protesters and targeting / suppression of journalists whilst ceasing people on the street and deporting without due process would appear the rule of law has fallen.
Is it not the point of congress to safeguard this eventuality and step in?

@curiously@mastodon.au @broadwaybabyto@zeroes.ca When genocides and ecocide are running wildly unchecked as a bunch of oligarchs smash the whole world like spoiled children who don't know how to not break their toys, yeah it's pretty safe to conclude that rule of law, rules-based international order and so on is all a really terrible joke.
