Boomer Liberal Moms are incapable of not liking politicians they like more than their kids, or wish their kids married, and I say this as a bi man, whose own Liberal Mom does this exact inane swoony shit for impressive young politicians, and was astounded I would not date Mayor Pete in any hypothetical but to ruin his career in politics, which she didnt find too funny. But its a goddamn problem of non conscious engagement with everyone younger than them as some child forever, and they are gleefully 'thats how moms are!' And im like 'dont be one for this one very important thing to you' and theyre like 'so you think we vote with big goo goo eyes for tryhard proxy children' and im like 'you never talk about mamdani like this and Id suck his eyeballs out through his dick' and they dont like that either.
