I only found conflicting reports and outdated numbers on the #CO2 emissions of LLMs. So I've made some estimations myself. I was hoping with newer numbers I could feel slightly less bad about my occasional #LLM use. But it's terrifyingly bad. Now I hope I've made a mistake, but the calculation is so simple, I don't see how I can very wrong.
