@fonos@mstdn.social @onepict@chaos.social Have they actually defaulted a choice of LLM on Firefox Android?
As far as I'm aware my PC version doesn't - that field is blank so presumably all the ML stuff just clutters up the user interface with things that don't work.
Nevertheless I've disabled all AI nonsense on my PC in about:config and am looking at Librewolf.

@marjolica@social.linux.pizza @onepict@chaos.social They haven't, and they probably won't (hopefully). Even though they are doing a lot in regard to LLMs and AI, they at least have the philosophy of letting the user decide to not have it. If you're a more advanced user, on PC, Arkenfox is a good way to configure Firefox to your liking. Otherwise, Mullvad Browser and Librewolf are pretty good alternatives.
