1996 had the dueling sci-fi alien invasion films Independence Day and The Arrival (which I mentioned earlier this week: https://chirp.enworld.org/@JediSoth/116630058798738719). While I enjoyed the heck out of ID4, I thought The Arrival was a better film overall. Like all three sets of these dueling genre films, the better film wasn't necessarily the one that made the most money. #MovieADay #Movies #Film #Cinema
