Please consider signing their petition against Bill C-22 (Lawful Access Act, 2026) and contacting your MP regarding the act.
We've seen this type of bill before, they will keep trying to pass this in some form, and so we'll keep fighting it.

Bill C-22 is the wrong approach to "modernize" law enforcement. The bill will conscript all tech service companies into becoming apart of the law enforcement apparatus. That's not going to work. They need to prioritize hiring people who are tech savvy (all the way to the top). The fact that many police forces have a separate/single cyber division is antiquated. The answer is to reform law enforcement into a more creative, technical and surgical system. Not reducing everyone's privacy.
