@mediaarchaeologylab@post.lurk.org I have 2 Ds' with broken hinges. my partner has a fat ps2 with a broken optical drive but i'd have to ask her if she'd be willing to donate it (also i'm in colorado if that helps any too)

@chipperdoodles@chaos.social we would be happy to take a DS with a broken hinge - hinges can be fixed! and, if your girlfriend is willing to part with the PS2 that would be excellent - we're looking to have some backup parts as the mechanical bits fail in ours. though also - if she wants to keep it, and the only thing wrong is the optical head, the replacement is pretty easy and only costs about $20.
