@gimmechocolate@bark.lgbt I haven't used my Ubuntu account in a very very long time, and apparently never on the forums. I could've just let it continue to collect spider webs, with my old Yahoo avatar still sitting in it, but I decided to do this instead https://discourse.ubuntu.com/u/hellomiakoda/ There, it can collect spider webs like that now.

  • @gimmechocolate@bark.lgbt And I could care less whether they think "queer" is sexual or not; even if it is; it is not in any way an excuse to read out and censor legitimate coding questions. If this is what Canonical is becoming, then I may need to brush up on Arch or Mint or another alt OS.

@gimmechocolate@bark.lgbt I guess you should update your post as ubuntu mods have restored the original text?

@gimmechocolate@bark.lgbt how long until whoever perpetrated this writes a long blog post about how they're mad their actions didn't go by under-the-radar and they're stepping down

@gimmechocolate@bark.lgbt Canonical is a UK ltd company. I wonder if A: the moderators are employees of Canonical and therefore acting as their agents, and B: if this falls afoul of the Equalities Act. I don't think "don't say gay" itself is illegal, but possibly counts as discrimination regardless.
