The level of context collapse around "AI" is one of the most frustrating aspects of this bubble, especially when I'm trying to address artificially-heightened expectations that management have received from headlines like this. AI doesn't have anything to do, really, with converting spectrograms into audio. And although there's a guy in the story who claims it would take "much, much longer" without an LLM, there's no real reason to think that's true.
