M_39 and EdBoatConnoisseur have a strong head start due to being gay in the nomination thread. Halo and MK2 have a solid start too, due to having destroyed instances that they're on! The Blockmosexuals AidenTTIerian and CharlieBrownAu are also making a good showing, as are Pete, Matty, and Graf - being admins of 3 long standing Fedi instances.
A handful of tournament regulars - Tomato, Ratposter, and Maija - are languishing at the bottom of the nomination pool. Will they fail to make it out of the gate this year? What will happen when NAS finally decides to show up in force? There's about a month left of the nomination phase, but it matters more than it has in previous years - the top nominees will get the coveted bye round!
