I need to buy an external CD burner and thinking maybe I should also look for a device that includes Bluray playback. Have any of you purchased such a device? They exist but the brands all look like divisions of the Sheinhardt Wig Company.

@Brilliantcrank@mastodon.social for better or worse that kind of device is at such a commodity level that you can shop by best price and get the exact same thing as if you pay more because there's only one factory churning out the mechanism thats in all of them.
