Finn Longman's A Wolf and His King was utterly exquisite. It's a re-telling of Marie de France's Medieval lay about werewolf and knight Bisclavret. its romantic (but not romance!), full of yearning and longing, loneliness and loyalty, suffering and isolation, a desire to belong, and struggles with identity. If you loved The Everlasting (Alix E Harrow), please do yourself a favor and read this! it's similar but different. I loved both so much. #books #bookstodon #fiction #fantasy #reading
