@clew@ecoevo.social Actually, they really struggled with hemp, too. The seed, the fiber, the psychoactive buds - just couldn’t accept they were the same plant. As with agave, one of the sticking points was the Greek common name. They knew hemp was a kind of rope, but everyone knows κανναβούρι is birdseed.
