@ojrask@piipitin.fi not framed quite that bluntly, but there are many who argue we don't need to change things, or oppose making some things easy, because we don't need growth or new users. Which is really the same thing, but just described in more abstract terms.

    @Setok@attractive.space I see, thanks. For me the "anti-growth" ideal is based on the notion of resisting growth for the sake of growth. Some of the UX talk I have seen has been more about user acquisition problems, rather than user experience problems. Sure: make the on-boarding processes and views simpler and faster, but don't justify it all with a capitalist assumption of growth being the primary metric of a system's health. Organic growth is good and welcome, certainly.
