@SuperManifolds@todon.eu Yeah ... on Linux it's also terrible, tray icons are supposed to be replaced with the background portal but people keep on using them so https://github.com/ubuntu/gnome-shell-extension-appindicator is preinstalled on most distros

@pojntfx@mastodon.social CachyOS does not have it preinstalled, but I ended up installing this one myself which I liked better than appindicator https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/9164/status-tray/
