Friends of ours are taking care of an abandoned kitten (bottle-feeding age) because nowhere else is able to take it. If the techbro mayor hadn't decided to have stupid beef with the humane society and cut off their contract, maybe this would be easier to deal with. I told one of them that they should take the kitten to City Hall and be like, "Here, you deal with it!" and he said, "No, the mayor would like... eat it or something"
