Just finished Norwegian Wood, by Haruki Murakami. I loved it. It was my first Murakami book, and it won't definitely be my last. After finishing the book I was expecting the usual backlash on the internet. Yes, I too cringed at many of the sex scenes, yes, it felt a bit heavy handed with the author's horniness. So what? Have you ever been a 20 years old man? Perfectly fitting, I'd say. This was a great coming of age story, beautifully written. #bookstodon #reading
