@petrikas@mastodon.art Oh yes I kind of feel the same.
However that's why I went full in and decided that the alt text for my pictures must be as qualitative as the picture itself, and that it should be enjoyable by anyone without the picture.
That's why I also post that text next to the picture on my website, and I use #altTextPhotography to try to highlight that work.
That's even more work, especially with the language barrier.
But I really force myself like there is no other alternative.

@liamcollod@mastodon.gamedev.place I've been meaning to try and describe my pictures, as one would have to describe them for an information plaque in a museum, but felt kind of pretentious. Maybe it's time to exercise the meatball and give it a go sometime.
