@AlexanderKingsbury@mastodon.social A stance against the color green doesn't imply advocacy for brown, which is what you seem to imply. I am not sure what is your point with iPhones - a product of luxury.
Semiconductor industry is not a good example of consumer-driven sector, it being supported by military funding throughout history - transistor, IC, microprocessor, and key industries like research centers, foundries supported or straight out owned by governments (Taiwan, UAE, newly US 😃)

@lvl3k@mastodon.social A stance against capitalism does indeed imply advocacy for socialism or communism, because there really aren't any economic system that don't fall under one of those. Your color analogy is therefore heavily flawed.
