My foray into #sourdough #bagels begins. I made a HUGE sourdough starter a few weeks ago, then gently dehydrated it and ground it into powder. Now, I just subbed in 80g of it for 80g of flour in the already-proven bagel recipe. Hopefully, it will work nearly as well and produce a good sourdough flavor. I do anticipate a longer rise time. #baking

So what&#39;s it going to take for some #DIY #electronics nerd to make a #keysmart style key organizer (or add-on for the keysmart) that has a keyless entry remote built into one of the scales? Seems like the big, chunky key fobs or keys with remotes built into the head really limit the keysmart; this could slim things way down.

One of the things I love about #capitalism is how often the desire to develop or serve a given market (in order to, gasp, make a profit, sin of sins) leads to a product being accessible and useful to another market. Pre-cut fruit, apparently for lazy people, is also apparently a nice option for people with certain #disabilities. The cheap PET plastic bottle? VERY popular with #ultralight #camping enthusiasts. There are examples all around you of this effect, if you look for them..

For any #canning enthusiasts out there who find it frustrating to store large numbers of canning rings, it&#39;s often useful to store them on your empty jars. It protects the jars rim from nicks and dings. Just make sure everything is BONE DRY and stays that way.
