My coworker outed himself as fucking awful. He was talking about the game and how he’s so hyped about it and then says “they even have pride parades, so you know what I’m doing!” and makes a gesture of loading a shotgun… I figured he was that kind of asshole but he never said anything that direct before.

I mean, people do all kinds of things in games they never want to do in real life. Smashing up a parade with a shot gun would be fun. And if it’s pride, it’s even more fun because it’s just so wrong. You know? When I was playing gta, I had so much fun just hitting people on the street. Who didn’t do that? And who didnt look at the girls in very inappropriate ways? Games are games. It doesn’t mean your collegue is an asshole. When I was playing duke nukem in the 90s, I was playing co-op and I laughed my ass off when I killed my buddies with remote triggered explosives. I mean I was laughing so I got tears coming out of my eyes. :) It’s just games. And when we start acting politically correct in games, it’s all over. We have become machines.
