@tsherrygeo@m.ai6yr.org Hoping you don’t have shared neutrals (like I had in a past home). I never figured out exactly what connected from Point A to Point C via Point F in that home. Electrical was wires in conduit but buried in drywall. Was thinking I needed to dig out the time-domain reflectometer and start chasing pulses, but called it good enough and moved on. Didn’t solve that mystery! Enjoy the bright LED lighting! A nice upgrade…

@n8dmt@mastodon.radio so the reason for the replacement was that the pull cord came out of the previous fixture, which apparently is a non-repairable event. Home depot didn't even carry fixtures that take a bulb. Had to get this led-built in fixture. Not necessarily complaining, I just found it weird that the bulb fixtures were no longer sold.
