@n8dmt@mastodon.radio so the reason for the replacement was that the pull cord came out of the previous fixture, which apparently is a non-repairable event. Home depot didn't even carry fixtures that take a bulb. Had to get this led-built in fixture. Not necessarily complaining, I just found it weird that the bulb fixtures were no longer sold.

@n8dmt@mastodon.radio but yes, I would love to modernize the electrical in this house... We're saving up to build a new house at some point, so every repair or upgrade is weighed against the eventual demo of this building.
