@Bronwyn@sfba.social Would threading elastic thread through the band help? Or is it overall positive ease that's the problem? The hand sewing would also be pretty intense, for gentle tightening many rounds of elastic would be required, and it would still feel bodged to me, plus the rest of the garment would blouse out from the ribbing
