@Bronwyn@sfba.social If the other fibres felt it would probably get dragged along with them. Does the band say "machine washable"? If so felting is out. I think I would probably say I need to frog it to feel happy with the result and never get round to doing it. Your motivation and may differ. Only other option I can think of is hiding a seam somewhere to take in excess, but i would just be annoyed every time I noticed it. If you want to try felting I would strongly recommend doing it with a sample first - both to see if you can achieve shrinkage and if you can to see if you like the appearance after
