Trying to restore from a #macOS #TimeMachine backup for my stolen work laptop that had 1TB disk to another laptop with 1TB disk. Buuuut the backup in Migration Assistant shows as 1.3TB. I think this is due to use of Apple's new "container" system that doesn't play well with TM backups. Unfortunately TM is always an afterthought and MA is always a slow, buggy mess even in the best circumstances. I hope I can get this thing restored before the long holiday weekend ends.
