@chris@social.losno.co thanks! this is manjaro but i assume it's mostly the same. kmix is a dependency of kde-multimedia-meta which is a dependency of kde-applications-meta. i'm always a bit worried about removing metapackages but it seems like it'll be fine lol

@jiub@not.an.evilcyberhacker.net Alternately, you can disable the auto starting of kmix. It just needs to be stopped from starting, and you need to log out and log in for the newer default to take over the media keys.
