I feel like I'm the only one who sees the proposed "Fedora Verified" status not as an arbitrary restriction on voting rights, but as a way to improve community health by essentially creating a "narrative" by way of measurable metrics and structural feedback, something that I think open source could benefit from and might improve contributor retention, especially among nontechnical contributors.
