Feeling a bit tired after the #BrusselsJazzWeekend Fri-Sun, and catching the last day of #JazzMiddelheim (today). Four shows over the weekend and 5 sets today. Would have stayed for more today, but Oh That Bright Sunshine! and getting home from the Antwerp venue takes a while by bus & train. Today had a lot of high energy jazz with no apologies — my favourite kind (wait, or is hard bop my favourite? Can I have two?). Recorded most of the shows… fingers crossed (esp for today’s sets).
