@draco@wandering.shop @distel@weirder.earth That's a good point to consider, I agree. I use the name people tell me, I don't care for what's written in their passports. I already know some people only by their social media handles.
Anyway it is clearly not enough to keep using name only, I totally agree - but I still think that's better than not caring for pronouns or neopronouns at all. I personally try to do the small steps I can do instead of not moving forward at all. For me it is a question of spoons available.

The reason for posting this is that I have 3 kinds of people in my life: people who use my neopronoun, people who don’t but use “er” and people who don’t and also refuse to use “er” and use just the name, that last group is prone to use “sie” for me, while the others are in my experience, more successful. It’s just a small sample size but I think learning pronouns is important.
