@anders_von_hadern@meerjungfrauengrotte.de yes, *and* I think that isn't enough. Bc speaking habits require pronouns. People are not used to use the name and then misgendering happens by accident. That is why my toot was written. To learn to use one pronoun fluently would really help. Using the name will not.

    @distel@weirder.earth @anders_von_hadern@meerjungfrauengrotte.de the name most people know me under is very clearly gendered. It would change nothing. And in German, I purposely chose a neopronoun that doesn't need declension.

  • @distel@weirder.earth I disagree - using name only consistently helps me to not misgender and thus start to not use wrong pronouns AND learning where misgendering pronouns need to be changed and how much I do not know about which pronouns would be right. *For me* it is an easy entry to not misgender, get practice and more awareness on where neo pronouns need to be used. In other words: without name only I would start using neopronouns and I would do much more misgendering by accident and feel ashamed and inferior. But that is just my point of view, it might be different for others.
