@linux_mclinuxface@fosstodon.org Ah, right. I need to remember that immediately flashing the latest open source firmware on a printer the moment I get it makes me the weirdo. Here's hoping it stays at indirect or goes away. 3D printer companies have been seeming quite eager to implement this even with laws not even in effect yet, so I feel like I can't just pin that on legislators even.
