@me We've had more than three decades to figure out kids on the Internet. Certainly there have been shifts during that time, but still they lived through those shifts and engaged with that technology. Low cost 3D printing has been around for nearing a decade. If you look at where there was practical use of 3D printed guns you'd be looking at Myanmar with rebels fighting an authoritarian junta. They used Ender 3s which were clones of Prusa i3s, what is today more than decade old designs and technology. That excuse just doesn't hold up to me like it used to. I would say they are at best witless.
