@PatrickoftheG@mastodon.social For anyone unfamilliar with surveillance pricing: Next time you buy something online, whether its a subscription, a pair of slippers, an airline ticket, doesn't matter (but it especially matters the more expensive it is) try this. After getting a price in your normal browser profile, repeat in an incognito window or a Guest tab some browser call it - one that is divorced entirely from any google/microsoft account/profile. Get a different price? That's surveillance pricing.
