Dangit. This "trying to be kinder to myself" thing is killing a lot of perfectly-good self-deprecating jokes. As well as some jokes that might be self-deprecating but I'm actually not sure if they are so I overthink them into oblivion. And now I'm wondering if *that* counts, but I've already typed it out so screw it.
