So I played a clip of an owl hooting for my roommate to give him an idea of what I heard for literally hours last night, and then afterwards the actual owl started hooting in the distance. I'm pretty sure it's a coincidence, but there's a part of me wondering if I accidentally got its attention. I mean, I'm indoors and it sounds like it's a good distance away tonight, so odds are it was hooting before and I just didn't notice until I started thinking about it. But still.
