As you can see, I have the first A1243 aluminum version with the F-key icons for Dashboard (before Lion came out), got it for Xmas 2007 and „light use“ is the exact opposite what I did with this keyboard over nearly two decades. Wrote whole books on that thing. Yes, the A and S key (why these? 😆) show a little wear, but 19 years ago I myself was less worn. 😎

I'm using an Apple Extended Keyboard II made in 1988 on my Macs in the office... this shows some signs of wear by now, but is perfectly usable after almost 40 years.
