@atomicpoet@mastodon.social is blocking such a good thing? Sure block hate speech & people who threaten or intimidate. But blocking people who disagree? Bad idea. I like the Twitter Mute button. Let’s your amygdala settle but doesn’t allow you to block opposing views. We should all be more worried about groupthink than someone who offers strong challenge.

@ClaireJHartnell@mastodon.social @atomicpoet@mastodon.social But you don’t have to block. It’s a choice. Me, I choose not to engage with Nazis, Terfs, and other purveyors of hate. I have better tools to do that here.
