@janvlug@mastodon.social I've now revived (taking a whole afternoon!) to revive my Librem 5. It is still atrocious. The developers have no respect for the time of their users. Everything is slow even when it does not need to be. A typical example: opening a category in the PureOS store takes 42 seconds! And it takes that long even for empty (and cryptic) categories like 'Codecs' and 'Fonts'. This was the same when I put this device in a drawer.
The device is constantly 39°C at an ambient temperature of 18°C.

@codo@fosstodon.org Good to hear that you managed to revive the Librem 5! I personally never use the PureOS store, because it does not work well. I had the same problem with GNOME Software on other distributions. Sure, things can be improved, but I think that "the developers have no respect..." is not a fair statement to people working hard on providing mobile Linux distributions like PureOS. Did you enable suspend? And did you install the Crimson version of PureOS?
