for me role switching Just Worked on both sdm632-motorola-river and sm6115-motorola-guamp… (both PMI632)
with the only caveat that (at least on guamp) right now having power supplied to the dock seems to actually put it into gadget mode o.0
without powering the dock it really Just Works, see the xonotic video i posted recently :D

@valpackett@social.treehouse.systems @juliangro@social.linux.pizza honestly it's not much of priority for me, lack of haptics (despite adding pm660-haptics) and wifi crashing after successful boot with proper board-2.bin supplied are probably higher priority (and of course getting internal audio to work)
