@sam@froth.zone actually a note on government work - in aus boomer public servants get paid their salary into retirement "defined benefits scheme"/ the golden handcuffs. They took this away in the early 2000s. Which means if you're a gen z public servant you get to pay for your boomer boss's salary after he retires while you don't get jack shit except raped for eternity.
