@cassidyclown@clubcyberia.co defined benefit plans have a purpose because if left to their own devices people won't save anything for retirement and then when they get old have to work until they die instead of leaving their likely higher level job for someone younger than them Just letting people pay into it and NOT take money out is just a wealth redistribution but from the young to the old

@sam@froth.zone also no 20-year pension in the military anymore - not for new enlistments since the 90s. So same thing but imagine eating shit from your superior in some american-jew war in a muslim shithole and then paying his pension.
