I met the linux/arch/hexagon developers at ELC last week, and I'm trying to get their target properly working in the next mkroot release. They actually have a qemu-system-hexagon they say linux boots under now: https://github.com/qualcomm/qemu/tree/hex-next I still need to build their forked qemu and their forked kernel, but things are progressing upstream and they have actual documentation: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/bcain/linux.git/tree/Documentation/arch/hexagon/qemu-boot.rst?h=bcain/boot_qemu And they've just added the -cc symlink to their llvm+musl toolchain: https://github.com/quic/toolchain_for_hexagon/pull/64
